The RePowder Workshop took place at DTU on 23-24 August 2023. About 30 people attended the Workshop with 4 Key Note presentations and 10 invited talks. The workshop finished with reception and inauguration of Powder Lab.
The laboratory gas atomizer was successfully moved from the DTU Risø Campus to the Lyngby Campus, and is now fully operational. The first batch of steel powders was atomized in May 2023. The facility is open for outside users.

We have recently installed Malvern Mastersizer 3000 laser diffraction particle size analyzer at DTU Mechanical Engineering, together with flexible volume wet dispersion and state-of-the-art dry powder dispersion accessories. This versatile and compact instrument delivers class-leading particle sizing performance in a wide size range (10 nm – 3.5 mm).
